We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting operations for our Spectacles hardware business! You’ll establish the costing and revenue frameworks from the ground up, shape our financial systems for scalability, and partner with leaders across FP&A, Supply Chain, and Engineering. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a team at the intersection of technology, operations, and accounting excellence.What you’ll do:* Build a team that is responsible for inventory costing, COGS analysis and product revenue recognition.* Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Supply Chain and Engineering teams to support operational scalability and determine the appropriate accounting for new products.* Develop and maintain standard costing structures, including BOM costing, overhead absorption and variance reporting.* Build the revenue recognition framework by identifying performance obligations, transaction prices, and timing of revenue recognition in accordance with accounting standards.* Drive the monthly and quarterly close process, including journal entries, system integrations, reconciliations, and manufacturing cost analysis.* Lead the development of the inventory accounting and revenue accounting systems for our hardware business.
