A leading retail company is looking for a People Partner to manage all HR-related aspects within its retail division across the UK. The ideal candidate will support the Retail Leadership Team and collaborate with Store Managers on employee relations and talent management processes. Additionally, understanding employment law and excellent communication skills are essential. At Charles Tyrwhitt our purpose is to “Make it easy for men to dress well”. This time, we are on the lookout for a People Partner, working with our Retail cohort.
The primary purpose of the Retail People Partner is to deliver our People agenda in the Retail directorate whilst supporting our UK store estate with all people related matters. This involves successfully managing any ER cases that come up in a timely and professional manner, ensuring they are resolved in line with our policies and procedures whilst remaining pragmatic to the needs of the business. As the first point of contact for Retail the role will partner with the Director of Retail and the senior Retail team on strategic matters. Within this role, you will be travelling to our retail store estate which covers all of the UK, France & Ireland.

That was over 3 decades ago and whilst Charles Tyrwhitt (it rhymes with spirit by the way) is still famous for proper shirts, these days we are about so much more than collars and cuffs.
