A specialist Health and Social Care provider in Birmingham seeks a Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) to deliver high standards of care to individuals with complex needs. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and be NMC registered. Responsibilities include managing a caseload, conducting assessments, and working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams. This position offers a competitive salary of £36,000 - £40,000 plus a car allowance, alongside comprehensive training and benefits.
Location: Office hours at home then delivering in the community (ideally located in the Birmingham / West Midlands area) must be willing to travel and occasional overnight stays.
The overall aim of the role is to achieve the highest possible standard of care in a professional manner, through providing direct and indirect care to, including but not limited to, people we support experiencing mental health problems, behaviours perceived as challenging and acquired brain injuries. This will also include being part of the assessment process to help people move out of hospital and into their own home.
