Job summary
A registered provider of social housing is looking for trustees with expertise in housing regulation and legal governance to contribute to a strategic project aimed at incorporating a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV). The role includes providing strategic guidance on establishment, safeguarding the organization’s interests, advising on property acquisition, and supporting staff in delivering project objectives. Skills
We are looking for trustees with expertise in housing regulation, legal governance or property acquisition and development to support a strategic project to incorporate an SPV and become a Registered Provider of Social Housing.
The role involves providing strategic input as we develop the subsidiary, safeguarding our organisation and beneficiaries through a transition to a Registered Provider, and supporting sustainable growth through high‑quality services and property development.
- Provide strategic guidance on the establishment of the SPV and registration as a social housing provider.
- Guard the organisation’s legal, charitable and governance interests during the transition.
- Advise on property acquisition, development and sustainable growth plans.
- Support existing trustees and staff in delivering the project’s objectives.
- Housing Association or housing regulatory expertise with strategic input experience.
- Legal expertise in charity or corporate governance, housing, property or related regulation.
- Proven experience in property acquisition and development, delivering high‑quality services.
