Overview

We are looking for trustees with expertise in housing regulation, legal governance or property acquisition and development to support a strategic project to incorporate an SPV and become a Registered Provider of Social Housing.

What will you be doing?

The role involves providing strategic input as we develop the subsidiary, safeguarding our organisation and beneficiaries through a transition to a Registered Provider, and supporting sustainable growth through high‑quality services and property development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic guidance on the establishment of the SPV and registration as a social housing provider.
  • Guard the organisation’s legal, charitable and governance interests during the transition.
  • Advise on property acquisition, development and sustainable growth plans.
  • Support existing trustees and staff in delivering the project’s objectives.
Qualifications
  • Housing Association or housing regulatory expertise with strategic input experience.
  • Legal expertise in charity or corporate governance, housing, property or related regulation.
  • Proven experience in property acquisition and development, delivering high‑quality services.
