Job summary
A retail management company based in Kidlington is looking for a Shop Supervisor to manage shop operations at Campsfield House IRC. Responsibilities include overseeing a small retail team, ensuring excellent customer service, handling cash, and maintaining compliance with Health & Safety standards. The ideal candidate should have over a year of supervisory experience, be UK resident for more than 5 years, and must be 18+. Join Aramark UK at Campsfield House IRC and lead a small retail team in a unique, secure environment. You’ll manage shop operations, oversee the post office counter, and support your manager in delivering excellent service to our customers.
- Run the shop during shifts, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and customer service.
- Lead and support retail assistants.
- Handle cash, place orders, and manage stock.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient store.
- Enforce hygiene standards and ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Fire regulations.
- Control costs including shrinkage and waste.
- Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager and General Manager to support broader site operations.
- 1+ year supervisory/retail experience.
- Must be 18+.
- Effective communication & basic IT skills
- UK resident for 5+ years (DBS & vetting required)
