A charitable organization is seeking a PAUSE Practitioner to empower women facing multiple disadvantages. This role involves providing intensive relationship-based support, developing tailored support plans, and collaborating with local agencies. The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to equality and safeguarding. This is a fixed-term position located at the Gloucester Women’s Centre, offering a salary between £25,000 and £27,000 per annum.
Location: Gloucester Women’s Centre
Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: 35 per week (flexibility required)
Contract: 2 years Fixed Term
Pension: Auto-enrolment (6% employer contribution)

The Nelson Trust is seeking a committed, creative, and resilient individual to join our dynamic Women’s Community Services team as a PAUSE Practitioner. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference to women experiencing multiple disadvantage in Gloucestershire.
As a PAUSE Practitioner, you’ll deliver intensive, relationship-based support to women, helping them to break cycles of trauma and disadvantage, and reduce the number of children being removed into care. You’ll work as part of a supportive, multi-disciplinary team at our Gloucester Women’s Centre, using assertive outreach, one-to‑one and group interventions, and a trauma‑informed, gender‑responsive approach.
