  • Lead a dedicated team to provide an engaging and high-quality curriculum, maximising student progress and enjoyment
  • Monitor and support student achievement, using data to drive improvement and intervention
  • Ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning, curriculum planning, and assessment
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that supports staff development and student wellbeing

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status and strong teaching experience in secondary English
  • A track record of leading or supporting curriculum development and raising standards
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
  • A passion for developing students’ love of English and a commitment to their wider personal development
