We're looking for a Sales Manager in Christchurch

We’re on the lookout for a driven Sales Manager to join our Christchurch studio. This is a pivotal new role for NV, focused purely on acquiring new clients and securing high-value projects. If you thrive on building relationships, opening doors and closing meaningful deals, this is your chance to shape NV’s growth story.

NV Interactive is a digital agency with studios in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. For more than 25 years we’ve been blending creativity and intelligence to craft digital experiences that deliver real-world impact. We work with some of New Zealand’s most recognised organisations, as well as international clients, creating online and interactive experiences at a world-class level.

As Sales Manager, your focus will be on acquiring new partners and winning projects of significant value, building a pipeline that delivers strong new business revenue each year. You’ll represent NV in the market, collaborate with our strategy, design and development teams to shape solutions, and set each project up for long-term success through a seamless handover to delivery.

What you'll do.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities with medium to large organisations.
  • Represent NV at meetings, pitches and industry events, showing the craft and credibility we’re known for.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to shape compelling proposals that balance client needs with NV’s commercial goals.
  • Protect NV’s commercial position by ensuring pricing, margins and contracts are solid.
  • Deliver accurate forecasts and keep revenue projections visible to leadership.
  • Stay sharp on digital trends, competitor activity and market opportunities.
What we’re looking for.
  • Digitally fluent and confident with modern web technology, CMSs (ideally Umbraco), analytics dashboards and sales tools.
  • A proven track record of winning $50k+ projects and hitting annual revenue targets.
  • An established network with strong connections to decision-makers in relevant industries.
  • Skilled in consultative selling, able to shape solutions with delivery teams and show ROI without over-promising.
  • Commercially astute, with confidence in pricing, negotiation and contracts.
  • Resilient and self-directed, with persistence in complex mid-to-enterprise sales cycles.
  • Straight up, authentic and able to build trust quickly.
  • Bonus points if you bring agency/consultancy experience, or an existing portfolio of wins with references.
