A prominent non-profit organization is seeking a UK Director to lead its London bureau, advocate for press freedom, and manage fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in journalism or association management, a strong understanding of civil liberties, and excellent communication skills. The role offers a salary between £60,000 and £70,000 and includes two days of remote work per week. Applications are due by December 31 via email.
Reporters Without Borders is looking for a UK Director who will report to the Director General of RSF, work closely with the international coordination team, and be assisted by a UK‑based Advocacy officer. With the support of various departments at headquarters, you will be responsible for the office, developing the organisation’s activities and reputation by defending and promoting press freedom and the right to reliable information in the region (UK). This will include the production of impactful publications, regular engagement with government and authorities, and managing projects with journalism stakeholders.
