As Riverside Motor Group continues to grow, so do our opportunities… We are currently looking for a Vehicle Photographer and Quality Control Specialist to join our dedicated team at our Vehicle Prep Centre in Wakefield. This full‑time role is crucial to ensuring that our vehicles are presented online and delivered to our retail network to the highest standard and in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing high‑quality, brand‑compliant imagery for digital listings, working indoors using our state‑of‑the‑art automated photobooth. Whilst performing detailed quality control checks before cars are advertised or dispatched.

We offer full‑time hours (8:30 am to 5:00 pm) with a competitive salary and career progression opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Capture clear, well‑composed photographs of used vehicles including exterior, interior, and feature shots, following strict brand guidelines.
  • Use our indoor electronic turntable photobooth to capture exterior shots of cars.
  • Work efficiently to photograph multiple vehicles per day in line with daily online listing targets.
  • Use company‑provided devices (camera, tablet, or phone) to upload images directly to stock systems or retail platforms.
  • Maintain the photo bay or designated shooting area to ensure it remains clean and professional at all times.
  • Conduct final cosmetic and functional checks on vehicles before they go live or are dispatched.
  • Verify that all required preparation work has been completed, including valeting, bodywork, and mechanical repairs.
  • Ensure key details such as mileage, spec, and features are accurate and consistent with internal records.
  • Identify and report any outstanding issues such as damage, warning lights, or cleanliness concerns.
  • Approve vehicles for listing or delivery once they meet our preparation standards.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role within vehicle preparation, photography, or automotive retail is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot issues that others might miss.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet daily targets.
  • A proactive, team‑oriented attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
