The Opportunity

In this role as Training Manager you will lead learning and development at our Manton Wood site. Acting as the on‑site expert for all things training, you’ll oversee training across all shifts, ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance and acting as a key contact during internal and external audits.

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll balance strategic thinking with operational delivery. You’ll need the flexibility to work a variety of shifts to support the operation and ensure training standards are consistently met across the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing and coordinating training across all site shifts, ensuring consistent standards
  • Ensuring legal, customer and audit compliance, confidently supporting auditors when required
  • Managing onboarding, inductions and mandatory training compliance
  • Partnering with managers to build capability, embed coaching and develop teams
  • Designing and delivering engaging, inclusive training programmes
  • Leading, developing and supporting a team of Bakery Trainers
