The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Tendering Lead to support our Rugby Business Units and Sales Team in delivering high-quality tenders and quotations.

This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end tender process, coordinating technical and commercial inputs, and ensuring bids are accurate, compliant, and competitive. You’ll work closely with Sales, Business Managers, and Project Teams to drive bid quality and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage tenders and quotations from bid / no-bid through to submission
  • Coordinate technical, commercial, and financial inputs and approvals
  • Support pricing strategies using market insight and bid performance data
  • Ensure tenders are accurate, professional, compliant, and submitted on time
  • Identify and communicate commercial, financial, and technical risks
  • Maintain CRM and tender reporting to support forecasting
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure effective handover to Project Teams
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in tendering or commercial support within an engineering or industrial environment
  • Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial awareness, including contract terms and conditions
  • Graduate, HND/HNC, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of rotating machines or related engineering services (desirable)
