The Team Lead Country HR UK & Ireland is responsible for leading the local HR team across the UK and Ireland, ensuring legal compliance, smooth delivery of end-to-end HR services, and a positive employee experience on-site. The role acts as the operational backbone of HR in both countries, managing the interface with the HR Shared Service Center (SSC) and global HR functions. Reporting to the Head of Country HR, the Team Lead ensures consistent execution of people processes, alignment with global HR frameworks, and effective collaboration with business leaders, employee representatives, and external stakeholders.

About The Role
  • Manage and develop the local HR teams in UK & Ireland, ensuring high-quality and customer-focused HR service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and collective agreements (where applicable).
  • Act as escalation point for complex employee relations matters in collaboration with Country HR, Legal, and external advisors.
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners to support business leaders, ensuring that HR initiatives and people-related decisions are legally sound and effectively implemented at local level.
  • Serve as primary interface between business leaders, the SSC, and HR CoEs, ensuring smooth handling of HR transactions and people processes.
  • Monitor service delivery performance, identify gaps, and implement improvements in employee experience.
  • Identify, implement and harmonize global HR standards and initiatives into executable, efficient practices in the UK & IRE.
  • Ensure audit readiness, accuracy of HR data, and compliance with HR controls, data protection standards, and labor regulations and represent HR in audits and inspections.

  • Experience in handling employee relations topics and acting as escalation point for complex cases.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g. SAP, SuccessFactors) and workforce data management.
