Location: Selly Oak, Birmingham, B29

Weekly Pay: £460 – £500

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (Term Time Only)

Start Date: 05/01/2025

Contract: Long-term, Temp-to-Perm

This long‑term role involves supporting whole‑class learning, running small intervention groups and helping to deliver Little Wandle Phonics as part of the school’s structured early reading programme. This position has genuine potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

What the School Is Looking For
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience working within a primary school
  • Confident supporting Year 1 pupils with early reading, writing and Little Wandle Phonics
  • Ability to deliver whole‑class, small‑group and 1:1 support
  • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early childhood development
  • Positive, proactive attitude and a team‑focused approach
