Location: Ditton, Widnes
Role: Support Worker
Type: Temporary – 37.5 hours per week (1 post available – maternity cover)
Contract: Minimum 6 months (with potential to extend or become permanent)

At Glenwood Care Home, we’re more than just a care facility — we’re a home.

We support 12 wonderful individuals across two cosy 6‑bedroom bungalows: Brown House and Hampson House, located in a friendly residential area.

👥 Our residents range in age from 24 to 68 and are unique individuals with a variety of health needs.
🌼 We enjoy activities, family visits, and making the most of every day.
🧑⚕️ Our nursing staff are trained in medication administration, including Buccal Midazolam, catheter care, and nebulisers.

👀 Who We’re Looking For

Do you want to make a difference in someone’s life every day?

We’re looking for kind, enthusiastic, and positive individuals who are ready to support our residents in living life to the fullest.

✅ No two days are the same — you’ll be helping with daily routines, activities, and personal care, while encouraging independence
🕒 Shifts run from 07:45 to 20:15 with waking night shifts supported by a nurse on duty at all times.

📢 Current Opportunities

We are currently recruiting for a temporary Support Worker role (37.5 hours per week) to cover maternity leave.

📆 This role is for a minimum of 6 months, with the potential to extend or become permanent if a vacancy arises.
