A community support organization in Dunfermline seeks a Support Worker to provide tailored assistance to individuals with various needs. Responsibilities include personal care, medication support, and promoting independence. Ideal candidates will be compassionate, reliable, and good communicators. While experience with challenging behavior is advantageous, full training is provided. At Real Life Options we provide person centred support to enable the PWS to live the life that they choose. Support is uniquely tailored to each individual, ensuring they have choice and control over the planning and delivery of their support.You will support them to reach their potential by providing both physical and emotional support, along with encouraging them to develop positive relationships and achieve their goals.
This role will involveworking in supported living and day services across Dunfermline and West Fife. As a whole they consist of 11 separate properties. The individuals we support have varied levels of verbal communication, autism, and epilepsy. It would be advantageous if you have previous experience of working with adults with challenging behaviour, although this is not essential, as full training will be provided andReal-Life Options will put you through the SVQ 2/3.
Shift patterns are generally 08:00am-3:00pm and 3:00pm to 10:00pm. Sleepover shift - 24hr shift: 3pm -3pm (sleeping 11pm - 7am )
