Overview

As a Store Manager at Vision Express, you’re responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store. This includes managing colleagues, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, and meeting sales targets. You’ll also handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting. You’ll also manage recruitment with the support of your Regional Manager and Store Support Centre colleagues. You’re responsible for creating a positive and productive work environment, ensuring all employees are trained and supported in their roles as we help customers see more and be more by providing tailored eyecare and eyewear solutions.

Flexible working hours: Although hours are advertised, we’re open to discussing flexible options to fit around needs.

Who is the perfect candidate?
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive growth to meet or exceed targets
  • Lead and support store colleagues with strong leadership and management skills
  • Great communication and rapport building to translate professional terminology into language understandable to patients
  • Maintain accurate customer records, prescriptions, and requirements to provide the best service and product recommendations
  • Collaborate with Eye Care Professionals, Optical Assistants and Management across the store
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Confident, passionate, and energetic
