A leading charity for Deaf individuals is seeking a full-time Specialist Support Worker in Leeds. The role involves supporting clients with independent living skills and emotional needs, specifically those with deafness and complex mental health conditions. Applicants should have experience or a willingness to learn British Sign Language (BSL), excellent communication skills, and a history in supported living or care services. Role: Specialist Support Worker
Day rate: £13.85 per hour
Salary: £28,080 per annum (night working includes additional pay with an ability to earn up to £31,449 per annum full time)
Location: Brudenell Road, Leeds
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week. To meet the needs of the service working patterns and hours will include evenings, weekends and night shifts. Shifts are 12 hours and 15 minutes.
Closing date: 29 December 2025
Our service in Leeds is a new supported living service for 4 clients who are deaf with complex needs and/or mental health conditions. Some clients may be moving directly from inpatient hospitals.
