About this Role

Are you ready to be the backbone of a thriving school community?

The Trinity Catholic School is looking for a passionate and skilled Site Manager to lead our facilities team and ensure our school remains a safe, inspiring, and welcoming environment for students and staff. If you’re a hands‑on professional with strong leadership skills, a talent for problem‑solving, and a love for teamwork, we want to hear from you!

This full‑time, permanent role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact every single day.

Working Pattern

This is a day shift role. The substantive post will be a straight‑through shift during the school day; however, the successful candidate will need to offer a degree of flexibility to cover staff absence and support school events when required.

Your Mission as Site Manager

You’ll be at the heart of maintaining and improving our school facilities, ensuring they’re safe, secure, and always at their best.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead a team of two site technicians and a security officer, and oversee the work of our cleaning contractors.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to manage school access, support lunchtime logistics, and ensure smooth operations.
  • Problem‑solving & Maintenance: Take ownership of repairs, contractor management, and compliance tasks, always with an eye on health and safety.
  • Facilities Management: Keep systems like alarms, lighting, and heating running smoothly, while ensuring our site is pristine and welcoming.
  • Development & Growth: Learn new skills, share your knowledge, and help us achieve excellence in everything we do.

What’s in it for you?
  • Competitive Salary: £31,067 - £34,314 per annum (OLOL Band , NJC Points 19-24).
  • Fantastic Benefits:
    • Generous Pension Scheme with employer contributions over 20%.
    • Access to top‑tier CPD opportunities tailored to your development.
    • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) providing emotional, financial, and legal support for you and your family.
  • A Welcoming Community: Work with enthusiastic students, supportive colleagues, and a leadership team that values your expertise.
  • Great Holiday Entitlement: 26 days per year, plus bank holidays.
