Job description
Site Manager – Fire Protection

I'm looking for a Site Manager to join an award-winning fire protection business based in London.

You must have experience with fire doors.

Role Responsibilities
  • Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management
  • Implementing project strategies in order to achieve the company objectives
  • Collaboratively with Contracts Manager, prepare the project programme and review and revise in line with budget requirements
  • Liaising closely with the whole operational team to ensure a high standard of contract set up, smooth delivery and handover
  • Producing and developing project programmes and control procedures to achieve delivery of the project on time, within planned costs
  • Inducting operatives to the Checkmate Way and site specific requirements
  • Ensuring all on-site practices are being adhered to and in line with CheckSafe
  • Agree and manage equipment, plant and sub‑contract requirements for projects
Experience Required
  • Passive fire protection experience in either compartmentation and/or fire doors
  • Experience as a Site Manager
  • Customer/client liaison and confident and professional communicator
  • Ability to chair and run meetings and provide regular updates
  • Use of Microsoft suite of Office programmes; inc. Excel, Word, Outlook and Project
Qualifications Required
  • CSCS card at Site Manager level
  • Valid SMSTS
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • 3‑day First Aid
  • Valid Scaffold Appreciation Certificate – desirable

The salary is £50,000 to £60,000 plus an excellent benefits package.
