Job summary

A support services organization in Glasgow is seeking a Female Shift Lead to manage day-to-day services, provide supervision, and ensure high-quality support for individuals with learning disabilities. A driver is preferred for this role.

An enhanced AdultPVG Is Required for this role.

As the Shift Lead, your duties will include:
  • Managing the day-to-day running of services.
  • Participating in hands-on support, including personal care, medication administration, and household tasks.
  • Planning and managing staff rotas to ensure consistent and effective service coverage.
  • Providing staff supervision, observation, and ongoing performance management.
  • Completing audits and ensuring all service documentation is accurate and compliant.
  • Developing and reviewing support plans and risk assessments.
  • Reporting and recording accidents and incidents accurately.
  • Liaising with families, local authorities, and health professionals to ensure effective partnership working.

You will have dedicated off-rota time to complete management and administrative tasks, in addition to working as part of the staff team when required.

Shifts - 39 hours per week
