Service Advisor Vacancy – Join Our Team in Newport!

Premier Motors is currently recruiting for a full-time, permanent Service Advisor to join our friendly and fast-paced Service Team at our Newport site.

As the first point of contact for our customers visiting for service or repair work across our Ford, MG, and Van Centre workshops, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Welcoming and assisting customers with professionalism and a friendly attitude
  • Managing workshop diaries and keeping our customer database up to date
  • Explaining repairs clearly and accurately recording vehicle faults
  • Liaising with technicians to monitor job progress and ensure timely completions
  • Authorising and processing payments for repairs
  • Promoting additional services and supporting service department profitability
  • Ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction in line with manufacturer standards

Who We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in customer service or administration (automotive industry experience is a bonus, not a must)
  • Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and computer skills
  • Comfortable with written work and basic numeracy
  • A full clean driving licence
Working Hours:
  • 40–45 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
  • Saturday mornings on a rota basis
