🌟 Senior Residential Support Worker / Team Leader 🌟

Location: Cannock

Salary: Circa Up to £38,500 inclusive of sleeps

Working Hours: Full-time

Service: Children’s Home

Service Users: Young People who have suffered early life trauma, neglect, or abuse and may display challenging behaviours

Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent

Experience in Years Required: Minimum 2 years

Employment Type: Permanent

Type of YPs: EBD, Trauma, Neglect

Who we are looking for…

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Residential Support Worker who is passionate about supporting children and young people. The ideal candidate will:

  • Plan and manage shifts with Residential Support Workers
  • Safely manage risks in line with company policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with the team regarding daily plans
  • Provide detailed reports reflecting the progress of young people using our paperless systems
  • Review care plans and associated documentation
  • Undertake quality and bespoke training
  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to improving the service
  • Advocate for young people using a positive parenting model
  • Utilise positive support strategies, including de-escalation techniques using in-house training (PRICE)
