Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior IP Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting our intellectual property department and contributing to the safeguarding of our innovations.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation, filing, and prosecution of patent and trademark applications.
  • Conduct research on intellectual property rights, including patent and trademark searches.
  • Manage and maintain intellectual property databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and manage correspondence with external counsel and international intellectual property offices.
  • Support IP attorneys in litigation matters by gathering and organising relevant information and documents.
  • Track and meet all deadlines related to patents and trademarks.
Qualifications And Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field.
  • Previous experience (at least 4+ years) in an intellectual property paralegal role.
  • Strong understanding of patent and trademark processes.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in database management and legal research tools.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Certification from a recognised paralegal association is highly beneficial.
  • Desirable: familiarity with IP docketing software.
