Job summary

A leading oil and gas company in Aberdeen is seeking an experienced Instrument Engineer to provide engineering support and lead improvements in reliability and compliance. The ideal candidate has a degree in Instrument Engineering, at least 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, and is chartered or working towards chartered status. This full-time role requires a solid understanding of regulatory standards and hands-on experience with control systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Oil & Gas, Refining or Chemical Industries.
• BOSIET, Medical and MIST for offshore travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide Instrument/Control Engineering support to operations.
• Lead improvements in plant reliability and equipment strategy.
• Act as the single point of accountability for Instrument and Protective Systems.

Skills

Knowledge of legacy instrument equipment

Experience in control systems

Commissioning and maintenance

Understanding of UK regulatory standards

Education

Degree in Instrument Engineering or Equivalent

Chartered Engineer or actively working towards
