Senior Business Development Manager – Pharmaceutical CDMO (UK & Ireland)

Remote (must be within UK or Ireland) | Global CDMO | Travel up to 50%

I’m supporting a growing international CDMO in their search for a Senior Business Development Manager to drive development and commercial partnerships across the UK & Nordics.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong BD experience in pharma services who enjoys both winning new business and nurturing long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, and close development & commercial opportunities
  • Build and manage key client relationships across the full product lifecycle
  • Negotiate complex development and supply agreements
  • Present technical capabilities and tailor solutions to client needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Sales, Technical, Legal)
  • Support proposal development and commercial strategy
Qualifications
  • 3+ years in BD, sales, or PM within pharma/biotech (CDMO experience ideal)
  • Strong understanding of drug development and manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • Scientific or business degree (advanced degree helpful)
  • Located in UK/Ireland or willing to relocate
