Job description

Job Title: Reward Services Team Manager – 12 months FTC

Location: Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: Circa £45,000 per annum

What you’ll be doing:
  • Acting as the primary support and deputy to the Reward Services Manager, ensuring continuity and leadership in day-to-day operations
  • Serve as the first point of contact for escalated queries, providing expert advice and resolution to internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing all reconciliations across the full range of company benefits, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion
  • Managing & maintaining process maps for all benefit schemes, identifying opportunities for improvement and embedding streamlined, efficient processes
  • Leading on change, integration, and continuous improvement initiatives across Reward Benefits to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service quality
  • Leading on the delivery of projects relating to policy, process improvement, and system enhancements

Essential:

  • Understanding, knowledge and experience of working in a Reward & Benefits Team
  • Quality driven, ensuring consistency and compliance
  • Excellent organisational skills and able to work under pressure
  • Able to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Advanced Excel skills required for this role

The Reward Team:

The role-holder will act as the key support and deputy to the Reward Services Manager, playing a pivotal role in the operational management and continuous improvement of the Reward Benefits function.

First point of contact for escalated queries, you will take the lead in implementing and managing all reconciliations and process improvements across all employee benefit schemes, including (but not limited to) the Company and Green Car Schemes, FLEX Benefits, Healthcare Schemes, Share Schemes, Long Service Awards, Group Income Protection, and Cycle2Work schemes.
