Job summary

A leading health services provider is seeking a Remote Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist to support young people aged 11-17 through evidence-based therapy. This role allows for full or part-time work with a commitment of at least 24 hours per week. The ideal candidate will hold a Postgraduate Diploma in CBT and have a minimum of 2 years' experience in working with children and adolescents. This position provides a competitive salary starting from £47,000, along with Bupa benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years post-qualification experience delivering CBT to children and/or adolescents.
  • Experience working towards utilisation targets and maintaining time boundaries.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality triage, CBT or brief interventions to young people.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored formulations.
  • Offer therapy via video or telephone, depending on client preference.
  • Liaise with schools, parents, and other key stakeholders.
  • Manage risk and escalate concerns with support from clinical leads.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems
Enthusiastic and self-motivated
Understanding of child and adolescent mental health

Education

Postgraduate Diploma in CBT (High Intensity)
Full accreditation with BABCP
