Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret drawings is essential.
• Proven experience in a Quality based role.
• Experience of Auditing is required.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Working knowledge of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect manufactured and brought in products for compliance.
• Adhere to policies and legal responsibilities regarding quality.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct internal process and product audits.
• Update and maintain inspection documents and records.
• Approve or reject raw materials based on quality standards.

For The Successful Quality Inspector, Our Client Is Offering

• Up to £14.50 per hour DOE
• Monday to Friday - 7.30 am to 3:45 pm
• Permanent position

The Role - Quality Inspector

• Responsible for the inspection of manufactured and brought in products confirming compliance with specification and quality requirements
• Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operating procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality
• Ensuring products are to the correct tolerances meeting quality standards and specifications.
• Carry out internal process and product audits.
• Raising of NCR's and assisting with corrective actions.
• The ability to take a methodical and systematic approach to your work.
• Update and maintain inspection documents, forms, logs, conformance certificates and other records.
• Approving or rejecting raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.
• Utilising measuring tools and equipment to ensure products meet the required specifications.
• Any other tasks deemed a part of your role by Management.
