Overview

The school is seeking a teacher who has experience delivering the Year 6 curriculum and preparing children for Year 6 SATs. Our Senior Leadership Team consists of friendly, experienced teachers who are passionate about education. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education with the ability to deliver high standards of teaching and learning to pupils whilst creating relationships of mutual trust, with the shared goal of making positive contributions to children’s achievements and to a school’s success.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high standards of teaching and learning to pupils, with a focus on Year 6.
  • Create relationships of mutual trust with pupils, colleagues and the wider school community.
  • Contribute to the school’s success and improvement through collaboration and professional practice.
Qualifications
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Minimum of 2 references
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience working in a primary and/or secondary school
Skills and Competencies
  • Be an excellent practitioner with high expectations and aspirations for all children.
  • Have excellent classroom management skills and be proficient in planning, assessment and target setting.
  • Be an effective communicator, working in collaboration with colleagues and the wider community.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and show initiative with minimum supervision.
  • Be prepared to be involved in the wider life of a school.
  • Good oral and written communication skills; strong organisational and time management skills.
