Job description

Based onsite at London Medical (Part of Bupa), W1U 5HJ. Permanent, full time. 37.5 hours Mon‑Fri 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM. Salary £45,000‑£51,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

London Medical is a specialist outpatient clinic located in London's renowned medical district Harley Street and is now a part of Bupa Health Services. Our diabetes and specialist services offer customers fast access to diagnosis, treatment, and support when they need it, as well as onward pathways to high quality care at Bupa's Cromwell Hospital.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly capable and motivated Pharmacist to join our growing team. You'll play a key role in delivering outstanding pharmacy services, supporting consultants, and driving business development within a fast‑paced, patient‑focused environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Pharmacist, you’ll be a trusted expert within our clinical team, ensuring patients receive safe and effective medication as part of their care journey. Your role goes beyond dispensing—you’ll provide guidance to consultants and nurses, manage stock and compliance, and contribute to service improvements that enhance patient experience. It’s a fast‑paced environment, but with the support of your colleagues and the pharmacy lead, you’ll finish each day knowing you’ve played a vital part in delivering exceptional care.

You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen By
  • Dispense and check prescriptions accurately, ensuring adherence to legal and clinical guidelines.
  • Provide expert advice to patients, consultants, and clinical teams on medication use and best practice.
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and storage of medicines in line with governance requirements.
  • Support clinical audits, quality assurance, and compliance with CQC and GPhC standards.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate on patient care plans.
  • Assist in implementing new pharmacy services and digital systems to improve efficiency.
Essential
  • MPharm degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Previous experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to service needs.
Desirable
  • Experience in private healthcare or independent hospital settings.
  • Knowledge of electronic prescribing systems and clinical governance processes.
