London, United Kingdom – Hybrid (partially remote within the UK).

Role Overview

The Product Development Associate will support the Product Development team in managing the lifecycle of investment products, focusing on European UCITS, AIFs and alternative vehicles for the Wealth channel in the EMEA region. The role involves project management, collaboration with global support functions (legal, marketing, compliance, operations and investment teams), and close partnership with the European client group.

Responsibilities
  • Support lead Product Developers for UCITS, QIFs and non-US Wealth products on a variety of initiatives.
  • Assist Distribution teams across PGIM in their fundraising efforts and resolve day-to-day product‑related issues.
  • Participate in all aspects of the product lifecycle, including project management support for fund launches, mergers, in‑kind transfers, liquidations and product changes.
  • Drive product improvement initiatives, such as workflow changes, database maintenance, regulatory adaptation, policy updates, vendor changes, and operational and strategic adjustments.
  • Maintain product development and launch pipelines and other support tools on TEAMS and SharePoint.
  • Coordinate and review fund rebates, record‑keeping, share‑class launch and closure procedures, and general fund operational queries.
  • Review legal, marketing, RFP and other documentation from a commercial perspective, escalating any questions or issues as required.
  • Develop leadership and project‑management skills necessary to lead product initiatives and related key aspects.
  • Ensure excellent levels of client service are achieved in partnership with the team.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in product, business development, client management or operations within asset or wealth management, consulting or investment banking.
  • Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong execution and follow‑through in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Intellectually curious, goal‑oriented, self‑starter with a growth mindset and a bias toward action.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to take personal accountability and enjoy problem solving.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, excellent interpersonal skills, and proven ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and build partnerships across functions.
  • Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite.
  • Undergraduate degree required.
Preferred Qualifications / What Will Set You Apart
  • Specific experience with European structures (AIF, UCITS and semi‑liquid vehicles) or transferable skills in ETFs or Collective Investment Trusts.
  • Understanding of the asset‑management industry, investment products and the role of key support functions.
  • Ongoing technical training, continuing education or advanced designations in progress.
  • Strong project‑management or a desire to develop these skills, coupled with excellent communication.
  • Experience collaborating across various locations and time zones.
  • Genuine interest in European regulatory developments impacting the asset‑management and fund industry, including ESG.
  • Personable with a strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge of Power BI.
