A leading occupational health provider in the UK is seeking Occupational Health Technicians to deliver health surveillance services across various client sites. Successful candidates will conduct screenings, maintain health records, and support a multidisciplinary team. A valid UK driving licence is mandatory. We are seeking Occupational Health Technicians to join our expanding peripatetic team. The role involves traveling across the UK, driving a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) to client sites to deliver health surveillance services. A 3-week Training and Induction Programme is provided, with ongoing mentoring and support from the team.
Interviews are scheduled for the week commencing 21 October via Teams, with face-to-face interviews on 18 November (London) and 25 November (Birmingham). Start dates are targeted for 5 January 2026 or 9 February 2026.
We are seeking a highly motivated professional with excellent time management, clear written and verbal communication skills, and a solid understanding of GDPR. Ability to deliver health promotion and health surveillance services is essential.
The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team, with strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise, and the confidence to meet deadlines. You should be approachable with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
This role may suit individuals with experience as a Healthcare Support Worker, Emergency Care Assistant, Ambulance Technician, Ambulance Assistant, Emergency Care Technician, or Army Medic. Graduates with a degree in Sports Science may also be considered if they have experience performing baseline measurements.
A valid manual UK driving licence is mandatory. Applicants must have held a driving licence for at least 12 months and be at least 21 years old.
Candidates will also be required to provide a licence share code via the official government website.
*During the initial weeks, you may use your personal vehicle or a company-provided hire car for transportation until a new company van is delivered.
You must be able to park the MMU near your home address overnight and be comfortable with travel, including regular overnight stays. You may be away from home for around 3 out of 4 weeks per month, with grounding home stays on Fridays.
Diary visibility 6 weeks in advance; subsistence for nights away; access to a Premier Inn account; fuel card provided.
Full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, typically between 8am and 6pm.
Based in Croydon, with UK-wide travel required.
Salary between £25,000 and £27,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
