A renowned cultural institution in Greater London is seeking a motivated Operations Coordinator to facilitate live and digital programming. The successful candidate will oversee event logistics, manage internal and external stakeholders, and ensure effective digital content presentation. Organizational and proactive skills are essential, along with a confidence in handling financial processes. This role will provide a rewarding contribution to public understanding of war and conflict.
About the Role
The Imperial War Museums’ Institute for the Public Understanding of War and Conflict (IWMI) is our thought‑leadership and knowledge‑exchange hub, delivering a dynamic programme of public talks, debates, workshops and digital content. We use IWM’s world‑class collections and network of global experts to help audiences make sense of conflict today.
As we enter an exciting next phase of development, we’re looking for an organised, proactive and enthusiastic Operations Coordinator to join our team at IWM London. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our live and digital programming, supporting our Associate network, and coordinating the operational heartbeat of the IWMI. This role works closely with colleagues across IWM, external partners, and a wide range of contributors—and includes some evening and weekend work (with TOIL provided).
We’re looking for someone who is organised, adaptable and confident working in a fast‑paced environment.
