Job summary

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage risks through equipment on site.
• Use new equipment and technologies for maintenance.
• Fault finding on all types of machinery.
• Support health and safety in the department.
• Provide expertise on heavy industrial machines.

Skills

Electrical competences/qualifications to at least City & Guilds 236 Pt 1–2

Mechanical competences/qualifications to an acceptable standard

Good multi-skilled ability

Fault finding ability

PLC diagnostics/repair competencies

Education

Recognised or time-served apprenticeship

NVQ qualifications to Level 2 in electrical and mechanical

Tools

Mobile devices for CAFM maintenance system
