Network Technician

Yorkshire Water Contract – Lanes / SUS

We are thrilled to announce a major contract win with Yorkshire Water, supporting them in proactively and reactively maintaining their Wastewater Network for the next five years and beyond!

We are currently recruiting for Network Technician to join our team, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative operational solutions across Area, Region. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career with Lanes Group, working closely with one of our most exciting clients and contributing to their AMP8 objectives.

Due to a contract win we are looking for applicants all around the Yorkshire Regions

Working Hours & Location

  • Location: Bradford

About the Role

As a Van Pack Operator, you will:

  • Maintain great customer service and communication
  • Adhere to company absence reporting procedure
  • Updating and completing site documentation using electronic tablet
  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements and safe system of work.
  • Perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure road worthiness
  • Report any issues or hazards by following company procedures
  • Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to assist with various tasks
  • Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Wearing and maintaining in good condition any Personal Protective Equipment provided for your protection and bringing to your supervisor’s attention any defects or shortcomings with the equipment.
  • Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment and CCTV sewer pipes.
  • Knowledge and direction of drainage systems
  • Conduct surveys and inspections of existing drainage systems.
  • Analyse and interpret data from surveys and inspections.
  • Ensure that all drainage systems comply plans.

Experience and Qualifications:(Desirable but not essential unless stated as required)

  • Full UK driving license (Required)
  • Water Jetting Association Red or blue book (required)
  • Banksman
  • Manual Handling
  • Emergency First Aid
  • NRSWA
  • EUSR National Water Hygiene
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • CPC Driver Training (HGV only)
  • Slinger and Signaller
  • Abrasive Wheels

Full training in the above will be provided if not already obtained.
