Qualifications

  • Must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
  • Prior leadership experience in an early years setting.
  • Experience as Assistant Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the nursery team to deliver high-quality early years education.
  • Support the Nursery Manager in overseeing nursery operations.
  • Act as a role model fostering high standards of care.
  • Build strong partnerships with families and external agencies.
  • Monitor implementation of EYFS framework for learning opportunities.
  • Take responsibility during Nursery Manager's absence.
  • Promote continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.
