We’ll equip you for success from day one – with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit all provided.
Think independence, career progression, and real work-life balance – with a 40-hour week that keeps you moving and out of the same four walls.
The RAC has been a trusted name for over 125 years, combining our heritage with bold innovation. Now’s the time to join a company that’s redefining roadside repair. If you’re a skilled, practical mechanic looking to be part of something big, this is for you.
No CV required when you apply – it's easier than ever to start your journey with us.
Benefits that go the extra mile
- Earnings that motivate – enjoy a market-competitive base salary of £38,625, with the opportunity to increase your earnings up to £50,000 through bonuses and premium-rate overtime. A full-time 40-hour week, with Monday–Saturday availability (8am–8pm), offers flexibility and stability.
- Opt-in Guaranteed Overtime – after your first month, you can choose to work extra rest days at £30 per hour. Just one extra day a month could earn you £3,000 more per year on top of your base salary. Two extra days could give you an extra £5,000. It's your choice – more flexibility, more reward.
