A reputable nursing home group in Scotland is seeking a Maintenance Person for an initial temporary contract of 3 months. The role involves ensuring the facility's maintenance standards, including painting and general upkeep. Applicants should have experience in a similar position, exhibit a friendly attitude, and manage their workload effectively. This position offers 30 to 35 hours per week, with scheduled working hours from 08:00 to 14:30, along with additional late shifts as required.
Randolph Hill Nursing Homes Group are currently searching for a Maintenance Person on an initial temporary contract of 3 months, full time 35 hours per week based at our exceptional nursing home Randolph Hill in Dunblane, near Stirling.
There will be a review near the completion of the 3 months with a potential for extension.
The purpose of this role is to ensure that the home continues to be in good repair both internally and externally in keeping with our company image. This will include general paintwork and decoration whilst ensuring all basic maintenance of the home is kept to a high standard with the outcome that we have a safe home with a trouble free environment for residents, relatives and staff.
You will have demonstrable previous experience in a broadly similar role including the maintenance of buildings and painting and decorating.
Friendly and outgoing, you will possess a “can do” attitude and will be able to organise and prioritise your workload and work efficiently.
