A local educational institution in Braintree seeks a Learning Support Assistant to support children with special educational needs. The successful candidate will demonstrate patience and effective communication skills while working with pupils, forming positive relationships and contributing to their learning. This part-time position offers a fixed-term contract until August 2026 with flexibility and teamwork encouraged. Additional training will be provided by the Inclusion team.

We wish to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to support children with special educational needs. The successful applicant will need to have a patient, positive and kind attitude, with excellent communication skills and a genuine love of working with children. You will work as part of a team, be calm, flexible and dedicated, and form positive relationships with staff and children. You will work with individual pupils and with other children in the class to support their learning. The successful candidate will receive training from the Inclusion team.
