A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join our team at St Michael's CofE VA Junior School. This is a permanent post, 5 days per week, 38 weeks per year plus 1 INSET Day.

Required as soon as possible

Pay: Scale 6 pt 13-17 depending on experience £19,750.83- £21,081.41 (FTE: £29,064-£31,022) Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm (30 hours per week)

As part of this HLTA position you will be expected to also undertake 30 minutes of Midday duties every day during the lunch hours from 12.15pm to 1.15pm, which will be contracted on a separate MDA contract.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be part of a dedicated, child-centred and forward-thinking staff team. We believe in sharing best practice and we will provide an excellent, supportive team to work with, who have a positive impact on learning, always putting the children at the heart of any decision making and enabling them to flourish.

As an HLTA you will be expected to teach once every week in one specific year group as well as cover lessons, when needed.

  • have extensive prior experience as an LSA in a primary school
  • hold the HLTA qualification or be qualified by experience
