We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and professional team at Templars Academy in Witham.

This position is for 15 hours per week, the working pattern is 8.45am - 12.00pm Monday-Friday, (15-minute unpaid morning break), paid on Scale 3 point 5, £8,652 per annum. This position is initially fixed term which is reviewed annually.

Applicants should have experience working with children in a school environment.It is essential that you have GCSEs (grades A-C) in both Maths and English, or hold equivalent qualifications in this area.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Enthusiasm to work with children with a variety of different personalities and skill levels.
• Able to engage well with pupils.
• Able to work under your own initiative.
• Smartly presented and with excellent time management skills.

Templars Academy is located on Cressing Road in Witham, Essex. Our large fenced site benefits from excellent facilities.
