# Lead Digital Practitioner(UK Visa Sponsorship)### Job Description## About the roleThis is an opportunity to play a meaningful part in one of DBTH’s most significant transformation programmes: the digitisation of health records and delivery of a modern Electronic Patient Record (EPR).As a Lead Digital Practitioner, you will sit at the intersection of clinical practice, digital systems and service improvement. Working closely with the Chief Nursing Information Officer (CNIO), clinical leaders, ICT teams and external suppliers, you will help translate clinical needs into practical digital solutions that genuinely improve patient safety, quality of care and staff experience.This role suits an experienced registered professional who is confident in clinical environments, comfortable leading change, and motivated by improving how care is delivered through technology. While previous digital experience is helpful, it is not essential — structured training and ongoing support will be provided.### What you will doYou will lead and coordinate digital workstreams that support the Trust’s EPR and wider digital transformation programme. Your work will focus on enabling clinical teams to adopt new systems safely, confidently and effectively.**Key responsibilities include:*** Supporting the planning, delivery and monitoring of digital transformation projects linked to electronic patient records and paper-light working* Providing hands-on support to clinical teams as they adopt new digital tools, workflows and mobile technologies* Working with senior clinical leaders to ensure digital initiatives align with patient safety priorities, clinical standards and organisational objectives* Collaborating with ICT teams and system suppliers to support configuration, testing, deployment and optimisation of new systems* Championing safe, effective and user-centred digital practice across clinical services* Using feedback, data and observation to identify risks, learning needs and improvement opportunities* Line managing and supporting members of the Digital Practitioners team, including supervision, development and performance oversight* Improving patient safety, care quality and experience is a core requirement of this role and must underpin all activity.**Working environment*** Based primarily at Doncaster Royal Infirmary, with regular travel across Trust sites* Flexibility required to meet service demands, including occasional changes to working hours or base location* Collaborative working across clinical, digital and operational teams### About DBTHDoncaster & serves a population of more than 440,000 people across three main hospital sites and a range of community services.
