Job description

Robertson Recruitment are working with a manufacturing company as they look for laser operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC laser cutting machinery to produce high-quality components to customer specifications, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to health and safety standards.

Working Hours

18:00pm - 06:00am
4 on 4 off shift pattern

Key Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating CNC laser cutting machines
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Loading materials and unloading finished components
• Carrying out basic machine adjustments and checks
• Monitoring cutting quality and making corrections where necessary

Requirements

• Previous experience operating CNC laser cutting machines (essential)
• Experience working with sheet metal (mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium)
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Knowledge of health & safety in a manufacturing environment
