A family-owned hotel group in Scotland is seeking an IT Support Technician to join their dynamic IT team. The position primarily involves desktop support and troubleshooting across multiple hotel locations. Candidates should have extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and strong user support skills. In the heart of Scotland, we’re set in a 900 acre estate in stunning Perthshire. A home from home, we’ve been welcoming generations of families for 150 years. We have 215 hotel bedroom, 55 self-catering lodges, 6 restaurants and over 60 onsite activities – there really is something for everyone!
We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Technician to join our team. The job is mainly based in Crieff but will involve some travel to the other hotels and sites in our family of hotels. As part of our existing IT department, you will provide desktop support using tools such as our IT helpdesk, remote agent and more. You will be a point of contact for troubleshooting and general IT issues for our family of hotels. In addition, you’ll be involved in bringing in new hardware into the business and IT development projects to move the business forward.
We are looking for a team player that’s flexible with a background in IT and a drive to support our users, hardware and services across the business. You will need to be a good communicator, written and verbally with the ability to prioritise your workload and escalate problems precisely and efficiently.
We’re a small team looking after a very busy IT infrastructure and are continually looking how we can improve our services and ensure that we are following new best practices.
