Job summary

A community-focused housing organization in Hockley is seeking a Scheme Manager to join its Independent Living Service. You will support residents in maintaining their well-being and independence while delivering high-quality housing management services. The ideal candidate will have experience working with older people, possess strong interpersonal skills, and be able to manage their own workload effectively. The salary ranges from £21,314 to £21,974 per year for a 30-hour work week, with opportunities for career progression and a range of employee benefits.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with older people and understanding their individual needs.
  • Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Encourage residents to maintain well-being and independence.
  • Complete compliance tasks and health checks.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service.
  • Provide administrative support, including maintaining records.
  • Cover other schemes as needed.

Skills

Numeracy and literacy (GCSE Grade C or above)
Experience working with older people
Ability to work alone
Handling confidential information
Interpersonal and customer care skills
Proficient in Microsoft applications
Full valid driving licence
