Position Details

Department: Nursery Operations
Location: Battersea, London
Compensation: £25,397 / year (plus performance bonus and holiday)

What you’ll be doing

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all nursery areas, including playrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
  • Carry out daily cleaning routines, including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising.
  • Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies and notify management when orders are needed.
  • Support with laundry and linen changes as required.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and infection control standards.
  • Help keep our nursery environments warm, tidy, and welcoming.
  • Work closely with the wider team to uphold our high cleanliness standards.
  • Follow all relevant policies and procedures for safeguarding and safety.

Our Housekeepers should have

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping, cleaning, or facilities role.
  • A proactive and reliable approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong time‑management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Understanding of basic health & safety and COSHH guidelines (training provided if needed).
  • A warm, friendly attitude and team spirit – you’ll be a key part of the nursery community.
  • A willingness to complete any necessary training.
