• Minimum 6 months’ experience in complex care with tracheostomy knowledge.
• Energetic, confident, and excellent communication skills.
• Hold a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle.

About The Role

We are seeking a confident and proactive Healthcare Assistant to support a teenager with complex care needs including tracheostomy care, seizure management, gastrostomy feeding (MIC-KEY button), visual and hearing impairments, and oxygen therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and manual handling
• Manage tracheostomy care including suctioning and nebulisers
• Administer medication and emergency seizure medication
• Support enteral feeding and oxygen therapy according to care plans
• Communicate effectively with non-verbal client using appropriate methods

A full driving licence with access to your own vehicle is essential for this role due to a rural location.

Unity Care Solutions provides complex clinical healthcare services to children and vulnerable adults within the comfort of their own homes.

You will work with a small number of our clients to provide dedicated and professional healthcare services.
