Headteacher - Preston Bridge School

We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Headteacher to lead and shape the development of our school, Preston Bridge, for pupils with needs associated with SEMH and Autism. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to lead and to develop a school with a clear vision, innovative pedagogy, and an ambition for both students and our team.

At Spaghetti Bridge, we pride ourselves on our Enterprise Learning offer – a progressive three stage curriculum, research-informed model that embeds the essential 21st-century skills young people need to thrive in a fast-changing society. Open since September 2021, Preston Bridge School is situated across two sites - Beachside and Harbourside - in the seaside town of Paignton. Our two sites offer beautiful contrast and our designed to support a broad and varied curriculum with sector-leading resources – you will play a central role in continuing toembed the ethos and vision of the school.

We are looking for a Headteacher who:

  • Brings substantial leadership experience within a relevant setting.
  • Demonstrates expertise in evidence-based SEN knowledge & practice
  • Uses and evidence to evaluate, improve, and challenge practice.
  • Is committed to developing and supporting staff, building capacity, and nurturing talent.
  • Is an outstanding communicator who builds trust with students, families, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Understands strategic financial planning and effective budgetary management.
  • Has a track record of successful multi-agency working.
